Fortnite Season 3 competitive schedule revealed
Monday was a very big day for Fortnite news. Except for MrSavage getting his own cup, some crazy pro signings and DreamHack hosting an open Fortnite tournament with a $250,000 prize pool up for grabs monthly, Epic Games shared with us details on a few things coming.
Seasonal Items
Before giving us the tournament dates, Fortnite developers addressed some other matters. To begin with, Epic Games said that future items that will be coming in the game during the season will be kept out of Arena and Tournaments for two weeks to evaluate them before they get implemented to those modes.
New competitive guidelines
Except for what has to do with the game itself, Epic Games also introduced some new guidelines for competitive play. First of all, players with inapropriate display names might get disqualified from major events. 'Smurfing' was addressed too, more specifically, players using multiple accounts will receive punishment on both their 'smurf' and main accounts. Click here for the full set of rules
